Serão 2 dinâmicas coletivas para skatistas entre 5 e 12 anos, conduzidas pelo professor Bruno Filgueiras e equipe: uma às 10h30 e outra às 15h30. Rajas Skatepark Announces Permanent Closure of Barra Funda Unit

June 15, 2025 (São Paulo, SP) – It is with deep regret that Rajas Skatepark announces the definitive closure of its Barra Funda unit. The last day of operation will be Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Opened in 2018 with a memorable girl’s skate event that gathered over 80 participants, the Barra Funda unit was designed to be a true learning and development center for beginner and amateur skateboarders.

Our passion for fostering skateboarding among children and teenagers also led us to empower the unit to execute large sports and social projects. This provided the first contact with skateboarding for over 2,000 public school students, as well as hundreds of children and youth in vulnerable situations.

Furthermore, the exceptional quality of its equipment and facilities made the Barra Funda unit an essential training ground for numerous professional Brazilian athletes and international teams. It also served as a stage for epic performances by true legends in the history of world skateboarding.

These and other significant contributions by Rajas Skatepark to Brazilian skateboarding were widely recognized, with the Barra Funda unit prominently featured in numerous TV programs and on social media.

Our Eternal Gratitude

We would like to express our immense gratitude to everyone who was part of the rich history of Rajas Barra Funda. Despite all the unconditional love for skateboarding and the tireless work behind the scenes to maintain the operation, we bid farewell to Barra Funda with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible days we experienced and with the certainty of a successfully completed mission.

The legacy of Rajas Skatepark remains strong! We will continue to offer quality, dedication, and love for skateboarding at our Pista do 21 | Farol Santander unit and at the Rajas Skateshop. For those who haven’t visited yet, offers a unique, radical experience in the world that is truly worth experiencing.

Thus, we continue this journey together and wish everyone much fun, dedication, and love for skateboarding, always!
