has some fabulous dive locations and underwater spots to explore.This is your chance to dive with one of the world's finest dive companies. This excursion is for certified divers only. The meeting point for this SCUBA diving cruise excursion from Nassau is just outside of your cruise ship terminal where the friendly diving shore excursion guide and transportation will be waiting for you. The drive to the dive center is 35 minutes to the western shores of the island. The morning dive begins at 09:00 AM and the afternoon dive at 01:00 PM. At the dive center, you will get checked in and pick-up your gear if you need to rent it. You are welcome to bring all or part of your own. All the equipment at the dive center is top of the line and all under 2 years old. Note that is you have someone in your group who wants to come along and just watch the bubbles as an observer, they are welcome. See the pricing on the order form. The minimum age as an observer is 4 years old. Once you have your gear, then you will hop on the dive boat. Your PADI certified dive master will go over the plan as the boat heads to the first dive site. There is a wide variety of sites used and it depends on the water conditions along with the experience of the group. Typically the first dive will be on a wall that begins at 40-60ft deep. Your dive master will lead you to explore down to about 80' for approximately 30 minutes. This can be adjusted for those diving with computers or buddies who might want to dive more shallow. Your dive master will find the perfect spots for your whole group whether beginners or more advanced. The second dive may be on another reef or on one of the sunken wrecks used as a movie prop such as the Cessna plane used during the filming of Jaws. There are also 12 wrecks that are located in the area such as the 100ft freighter that lies on the shallow bottom. Bottled water will be provided on the boat and you may bring your own snacks if you wish. When the dives are completed, the boat will take you back to the dive center. The transportation leaves the dive center between 12:30-01:30 PM for the morning dive and between 04:30-05:30 for the afternoon dive. The transportation will drop you off at your Nassau cruise pier.
