The Miss Katey's Girls Foundation is dedicated to inspiring and empowering girls in The Bahamas. We offer unique initiatives and experiences to nourish the spirits, celebrate the potentials and encourage girls to dream, grow and aspire to become extraordinary.
The Miss Katey's Girls Foundation is an advocate for girls' education, spirituality, sports participation, independence, service, entrepreneurship and sisterhood.
Our four main focuses include:
1. Promotion of Every Girl Can Bahamas - The Miss Katey's Girls Foundation is a partner of Every Girl Can™ Worldwide. Every Girl Can ™ is a fun, creative, interactive program to help girls prepare to be everything they can be. The international program focuses on personal image, self–esteem, and self confidence while helping girls to communicate the right messages teaching important skills in personal grooming, etiquette and civility and how to project a positive image. Every Girl Can Bahamas also offers conferences, entrepreneurship training and recognition of outstanding girls in the community.
2. Girls Helping Girls - The Miss Katey's Girls Foundation promotes "giving" and organizes charitable initiatives to spark compassion, sharing and friendship among girls.
3. Support for Shared Interest Groups - The Miss Katey's Girls Foundation is focused on developing a supportive system of sharing information, resources and services among individuals and groups having the common interest of girls empowerment. This includes Girls Clubs, Schools, Religious Organizations, Sports Teams, Mentoring Programs, Women's Organizations and Community Service Groups.
4. I Love My Daughter™ Campaign - I Love My Daughter is a trendy initiative designed to encourage mothers to embrace their important role in the lives of growing girls. The campaign offers various types of support for mothers raising daughters, and encourages mothers to show off their love for their daughters through stylish clothing and accessories.
The ultimate goal of the Miss Katey's Girls Foundation is to deliver hope to every girl in The Bahamas.
