Nassau Martial Arts Academy Promotion June 21, 2025

The Nassau Martial Arts Academy delivered a stunning performance at the Florida Cup and the Florida Gold Coast AAU Taekwondo State Championship held in Miami on March 22nd and 23rd, 2025.

The Team of eleven (11) athletes comprising of seven (7) males, three (3) females, and one (1) para-female athlete, showcased their skills against top competitors aged 7 and 21.

The Bahamian team excelled across the various discipline, including poomsae (forms), Olympic sparring and the para-taekwondo categories. Their dedication and rigorous training culminated in an impressive medal haul: 20 gold, 7 silver, and 14 bronze medals.
The students' remarkable achievement highlight their to the inclusive Olympic sport of Taekwondo. I am extremely proud of my students' performance, their dedication and sportsmanship.
It was an honor to represent The Bahamas on the international stage. We are eager to continue competing both locally and internationally, and further develop the sport Taekwondo in our nation.
