When Lyndsay first started coaching with me, she was already putting in the work in the gym—but something was missing. Like so many people, she was training consistently but felt stuck. The weight wasn’t coming off the way she wanted, and she couldn’t figure out why.

The missing piece? Nutrition.

Before coaching, she wasn’t tracking her food, wasn’t paying much attention to her macros, and didn’t fully realize how much of a role nutrition played in her progress. But once she committed to tracking, learning about macros, and prioritizing her protein intake, everything changed.

She started understanding her food choices instead of just guessing. She learned how to adjust as needed, making small, daily changes that led to massive results. She built habits—like meal prepping—that set her up for success and made consistency second nature.

And now? She’s thriving in maintenance.

Not only did she lose the weight she wanted, but she feels stronger and more confident than she ever did before—even before pregnancy. Her clothes fit better. Her mindset has completely shifted. She no longer wonders if she can reach her goals—she KNOWS she can.

“When you have your health, you have everything; when you don’t have your health, nothing else matters.”

The last thing I want to represent on here is just another fitness account or persona that feels out of reach.

I don’t want to be another seemingly “fit” person in activewear, showing exercises that feel intimidating...
or a lifestyle that feels unattainable.

I want to share the “why,” the “how,” and the real challenges I face.

I’m human—a mom of two, who works from home, manages a full-time business, and moms full-time as well; I’m also a trauma survivor.

I know how life can feel like it’s pulling you in every direction. But I’m here, pushing myself out of my comfort zone, because I believe wholeheartedly in the science behind fitness and its real impact on our lives.

My motivation isn’t about achieving a certain look—that’s more like the cherry on top. I’m here because I value health as I age, and my own mom battled cancer at far too young an age.

Just two years ago, I faced my most challenging health issue yet: a painful, five-week bout of shingles while pregnant. During that time, I truly felt the meaning of, “When you have your health, you have everything; when you don’t have your health, nothing else matters.”

I’m incredibly passionate about improving one’s relationship with fitness and nutrition through one-on-one coaching because I know firsthand that taking care of yourself can change not only your body but also your mind. I want to help others realize their own potential and strength.

This isn’t about shape or size—anyone can look “fit” and still be unhealthy. Being strong and healthy is something everyone should have access to, no matter where you’re starting from.

I’m here because prioritizing my health, moving my body, and caring for my well-being has been life-changing, mentally and physically. I’m here to help you do the same for yourself in a way that lasts.

The “balanced” life looks appealing, right? I talk about it all the time..to be honest I am not a big fan of extremes...but balance is EARNED.

For example, those posts promising freedom from tracking while just focusing on protein.... can work for some... or for those who are happy where they are.. it doesn't tend to lead to BIG accomplishments. Again, finding the balance that actually works for you, is is learnt and it takes time.

Why do we expect quick or easy changes when it comes to turning around our habits and lifestyles? When everything else important in life we tend to have to work hard towards?

Balance comes through putting in the work, learning limits, and building your own version of maintenance.

Sure, you don’t have to take on the hard stuff…but you should unless if you're serious about real and lasting results. If you truly want to change, not just physically but mentally as well and make it last, it’s time to learn and commit to the work that actually makes it happen.

Do the hard work now, and in a year or two, you’ll be enjoying the maintenance phase, a stronger body, and a solid foundation for aging well.

Or keep doing the same thing, getting nowhere, and wondering why those few fitness & diet attempts didn’t “work” this year.

If you can establish these five game-changers and keep them front and center, progress would surely sky rocket! These aren’t just nice-to-haves; they’re essentials for making real, lasting progress. While many people get caught up the in small things that sometimes really don’t matter as much as they think they do at the end of the day- these are some of the big ones I would prioritise.

It’s not about doing more, pushing harder, or chasing quick results. True progress comes from prioritizing what genuinely supports your body and mind over the long haul. These five essentials—embracing rest, fueling with purpose, staying consistent, nurturing a positive mindset, and celebrating every win—are the real keys to seeing results that stick.

THAT is the LIGHT BULB 💡 moment, and when I was chatting with one of my clients the other day, she literally said those words, I almost cried of happiness...because to me, that is something I have always wanted for my clients to eventually discover...

So many women go through life constantly thinking, “I should be dieting” or “I need to lose weight.” It becomes a never-ending cycle, driven by a diet mentality that leaves little room for real freedom or confidence in our day to day choices.

But here’s the truth: It doesn’t have to be that way.

With intentional phases, patience and consistency—both in fat loss and maintenance—you can finally break free from that mindset of always dieting and chasing the next quick fix. That’s the place I want all of my clients to reach: a place of confidence, peace, and true balance with not just their bodies but with their minds as well.

This client has been with me for almost a year and a half, and she’s not only gone through the fat loss phase but has also been patient enough to live through maintenance with guidance and trusting the process.

And let me tell you, maintenance is often more challenging than losing the weight itself... my intial program is 12 weeks long, but in all honesty, that is meant to be thought of as the “just getting started” phase. It takes time, focus, and a commitment to understanding what works for your body in the long term and developing those habits that stick.

But the reward? That freedom. That confidence. And the ability to live your life without constantly thinking about dieting and second guessing your food choices.

It’s OK to NOT always be OK. 💛

Feeling discomfort? Resistance? Guess what? That means you’re growing! 💪 Change doesn’t happen in your comfort zone, and pushing through those uncomfortable moments is where the magic happens.

✅ It’s OK to push yourself to work out when you’re not feeling it—because showing up for yourself matters.
✅ It’s OK to save money instead of spending it on something you don’t need—because you’re building something bigger.
✅ It’s OK to let urges and impulses exist—without giving in, because self-control is strength.
✅ It’s OK to feel scared and do it anyway—because courage is facing fear, not avoiding it.

It WILL be uncomfortable at times, and it’s OK to feel those emotions. Remember: You are safe, and you’re capable of more than you think. 🩷

But you know what’s NOT SO OK?

❌ Playing small
❌ Selling yourself short
❌ Letting self-doubt or limiting beliefs hold you back
❌ Giving up before you really see your potential

You must be in a calorie deficit to lose body fat.
The best way to get into a calorie deficit is by tracking your macros.

One of these statements is a fact. The other is just my opinion. 😉

The truth? A calorie deficit is CRUCIAL for fat loss—that’s the science. But how you get there? That’s where personal preference comes in. For me, tracking macros is an effective way to stay on track and ensure I’m hitting my goals without feeling restricted.

That said, it’s not the only way. What matters most is finding a method that works for YOU and fits into your lifestyle long term. 💛
