1. 🇧🇸 Born and raised in Nassau, but Eleuthera is my second home.
2. Growing up, I climbed my grammy's guava tree and raced my cousins up and down Kiki Street 🏃🏽‍♀️.
3. 👀 Track & Field is the third sport I've represented The Bahamas in - can you guess the first two?
4. 😅 I didn't execute the full throw until 2016, competing internationally with the stand throw only.
5. I broke Laverne Eve's 26-year-old national record as a junior 🫢.
6. In 2021, a severe lumbar disc herniation ended my collegiate career and tested my spirit 💔.
7. Recovery taught me patience, purpose, and the power of grace ✨.
8. To me, "comeback" means redemption and restoration - of body, identity, and faith 🙏🏽.
9. My journey is for little Serena and every Caribbean girl - no dream is too big 🔥.
10. Resilience is about rising amidst struggle and embracing the process. 🙂‍↕️
