We are truly blessed with an incredible parent group at Kix Academy 💙

Among them is Mr. Leslie Munnings, father of Leslie “LA” Munnings. On Sunday, while the rest of the team returned to Nassau together, the Munnings family had already arrived earlier that day.

What nobody expected was what came next…

Later that evening, Mr. Munnings and LA returned to the airport to surprise the team with a special two-man Junkanoo performance 🔔🥁

The energy, the culture, the love — the reaction from our players and parents said it all. It was a moment they’ll never forget.

What an incredible Junkanoo welcome for our players! 🇧🇸

🏆 U8 CHAMPIONS – KIX ACADEMY STRIKE GOLD 🇧🇸🔥

Kix Academy’s U8 team delivered an incredible comeback to win the Sharks Soccer Cup, overturning a 3–1 deficit to defeat Plantation FC Eagles 5–3 in the final 💪

⭐ Dontae Jones led the charge with FOUR goals, including three unanswered strikes to turn the game around.
⚡ Peyton Archer added the final goal to seal a memorable championship victory.

The U8s showed consistency and resilience all tournament long, winning 2 of their 3 group-stage matches to book their place in the final at Bamford Park.

What a weekend for our U11s! 💙

Five matches in four days, including a final on Sunday—an incredible effort from the group. Our U11s finished runners-up in the Bronze Division at the Sharks Soccer Cup in Davie, Florida.

Wayne Bastian Jr. led the scoring with six goals, supported by Adom Kwakye with three and Eli Bowleg with two.

Our squad members included:
Deantoin Bostwick, Alexander Smith, Makai Sturrup, Adom Kwakye, Khyri Johnson, Davyn Jones, Eli Bowleg, Leslie Munnings Jr., Austin Davis, Wayne Bastian Jr., Chase Fernander Jr., Zaryan Boodansingh.

Proud of the effort, resilience, and growth shown by this group all weekend. 💪

Kix Academy began with weekend sessions at Goodman’s Bay with just 25 players between the ages of 5 and 12. Today, the program has grown to more than 100 players and proudly serves beginners all the way through to advanced players.

Thank you to all the players and families who have been part of this journey. We look forward to continuing to develop young footballers for many years to come. ⚽
