It wasn’t about the perfect start — it was all about the finish.
After opening with a double bogey, Georgia’s Grayson Wood closed in style, going birdie-birdie to win the White Sands Bahamas Men’s Invitational by one stroke over Carson Bertagnole.
With the win, Grayson earns his first PGA TOUR start, set for the Puerto Rico Open or the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic.

Rounds 1 & 2 are in the books. The trade winds showed up in a big way, with gusts pushing past 30 mph and testing the entire field. 🌬️
One player who didn’t flinch? Zach Pollo, senior at the University of Arizona.
Pollo carded two sub-70 rounds in tough conditions and sits at 7-under through 36 holes, holding a three-shot lead over a crowded group of seven heading into Tuesday’s final round.
With two PGA TOUR exemptions on the line and the winds expected to ease, the door is wide open.
Can Pollo hold on - or will someone have other ideas?
Either way, the final 18 in paradise are set to deliver. ⛳️🔥

The 2025 White Sands Men’s Invitational is almost here! From top collegiate stars and international talent to Bahamian standouts, this is one of the most competitive golf events in the region.
The action takes place Dec 15-16 and entry is complimentary.
