Finally the two day Inter Department Khuru Tournament comes to an end. The final featured Team AS 'a' and Team SD. It was an intense battle with both the teams going neck to neck. Eventually Team SD triumphed over Team AS clinching the victory. Congratulations everyone for their participation to uphold our traditional games. We also would like to thank the college management for the opportunity to showcase our talent.

On May 10th, 2025. The Traditional Games and Sports division successfully conducted the final match between the teams from Administrative Staff and Sustainable Development. The final was graced by Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Tandin Gyeltshen. It was an intense battle between the young versus the experience. The points went head-to-head in the last five rounds. At last, with a clutch Daya from Pema Wangchuk, Team Sustainable Development emerged victorious, claiming the championship title of the CNR Departmental Archery Tournament 2025. 🎯🏹

The Administration Staff team were the winners against the Team Organic Agriculture. They paved their way to the final and will play against the winner from Team Sustainable Development and Team Forestry.🏹🎯

Team Forestry were the winners against Team Farm Staff making them the third semi finalists. They will be going against Team Sustainable Development.🏹🎯

Team Sustainable Development were victorious against Team Animal Science with a decisive Karey from their team captain Ugyen Wangdi. They secured their semi final spot which will be played against the winner from Team Forestry and Team Farm Staff.🏹🎯

The opening match between the Administration staff and Food Science and Technology department gave us lots of kareys to witness. It was a decisive game but eventually the Staff team clinched the victory securing their spot in the Semi finals. Their next opponent will be Team Organic Agriculture which will be played tomorrow.🏹🎯

19th October, 2024.

Today’s departmental Khuru tournament saw intense competition as 8 teams competed in a knockout match. In a thrilling final, the Forestry Department claimed victory, securing the trophy and Nu. 3000 in prize money, while the Sustainable Development Department finished as runners-up, earning Nu. 2000.

The final match was honored by the presence of the Dean of Students Affairs, who presented the trophies and prizes.

Congratulations to all participants, and a big thank you to the college sports team for the support and making this event successful!
