Mr. Ugyen has consistently made Sherubtse proud with his remarkable performances, including his standout contribution in winning the BuSF Tournament 2023 at CST. Widely admired across teams, he remains one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in the region.

Mr. Ugyen’s outstanding performance between the posts was key in guiding his team to the final. His sharp reflexes, perfect timing, and crucial saves under pressure were a delight to watch.

Notably, he maintained the highest number of clean sheets in the tournament—an achievement that clearly sets him apart. His leadership, composure, and consistency throughout the competition have rightfully earned him this prestigious recognition.

What an electrifying match!
Today’s second semi-final was a spectacle that gifted the audience so many beautiful memories. The entire 110 minutes were absolutely breathtaking—worth every second. Both teams stayed true to their tactics and strategies, showcasing composure and discipline throughout. Even the rain couldn’t stop the spectators from watching this thrilling game. It had the highest audience turnout of any match so far. Many are saying this should have been the final!

Emotions ran high at the end of the match. Even after 110 minutes, nothing could separate the two sides. The drama continued into the penalty shootout. After the first five kickers, the scores still remained level, proving how evenly matched both sides were.

Unfortunately for Mongar FT, luck wasn’t on their side in the end. It was a hard-fought battle, and sometimes it just comes down to the smallest margins. It simply wasn’t their day.

We deeply appreciate both teams for their professionalism and the high level of discipline they maintained throughout. It was a match that truly honored the spirit of the game.

And finally, congratulations to MUFC for reaching the finals for the second consecutive time! What a journey!
