🏹 The First India-Bhutan Friendly Traditional Archery Match.

On March 27, 2026 we celebrated the inaugural traditional archery match between Team Bhutan and Team Sikkim, held at the BAF Archery Range in Langjophaka, Thimphu — a true testament to the enduring friendship between our two nations.

The event was funded by the India-Bhutan Foundation, Embassy of India with the DCM as Guest of Honour, alongside the Secretary General of the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC).

The event was conducted with the objective of strengthening India and Bhutan friendship and to foster deeper people-to-people or archer-to-archer connection through sport and cultural ways of each region.

We look forward to making this an annual tradition, promoting our unique national sport and deepening the bonds between our people. 🇧🇹🤝🇮🇳
