They improve the physical and mental health of people in the local community, create employment and personal development opportunities for all and bring diverse groups together like no other sport can. The volunteers running grassroots football are the unsung heroes of our sport.

Inter house khuru competition. (Laya CS)

Khuru is a traditional game played in Bhutan. It’s similar to dart but the size of the dart is bigger than the usual plastic dart with metal tip. "Khurus" are carved out of hard-wood and there is no restriction on the weight or the size to be played. It is a team sport and Competitors take turns to throw two darts, one after the other.

Football is a family of team sports that involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball to score a goal. Unqualified, the word football normally. If it doesn't matter who WINS or loses, then why do they keep SCORE.

You learn you can do your best even when it's hard, even when you're tired and maybe hurting a little bit. It feels good to show some courage.
