Enduro, a budding sport in Bhutan Surrounded by hemlock, rhododendron, and juniper forests, the 10km trail starts downward from Thimphu’s Lungchutse (3,566m above sea level) until Punakha’s Lumitsawa. This has become one of the favourite destinations for enduro (mountain biking) enthusiasts.

Perfect for the adrenalin seeking junkies and weekend warriors looking for an adventurous enduro mountain biking getaway, Chelela trail will have you salivating to say the least.
With extended downhill rides starting from Kila Goempa just at the peripheral of the tree-lines the trail beckons any level of enduro rider to experience the interweaving natural paths along the vast pristine blue pine forest.
Peppered with natural burmps and manmade table tops, it makes it an enjoyable trail for all mountain bike enthusiast.
And just when you think the trail cannot offer more, it does so, as if saving the best for the last, the trail ends in a very technical aspect. With a combination of gravel and steep 70 degree drop segments, opening up to the beautiful Paro Valley, it will surly have your blood pumping.
