World Environment Day

The Snowman Race is more than an endurance challenge, it is a journey through some of the world’s most fragile and breathtaking mountain ecosystems.

Every trail, glacier, alpine meadow, and mountain pass along the race route reminds us of the importance of protecting our natural environment. As climate change continues to impact high-altitude regions, preserving these landscapes becomes more urgent than ever.

Today, on World Environment Day, we celebrate the beauty of Bhutan’s wilderness and reaffirm our commitment to promoting environmental stewardship, climate awareness, and sustainable tourism.

Together, let’s protect the mountains that inspire us and the planet we all call home.
