On this momentous occasion, the Bhutan Paralympic Committee extends its sincere and warmest felicitations to the people and Government of India, as the nation commemorates 80 remarkable years of independence, progress, and resilience.

The friendship between Bhutan and India is one of the most cherished relationships in our region โ€” founded on enduring trust, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to harmony, cooperation, and mutual growth. It is a bond that has stood the test of time, nurtured across generations through goodwill and genuine partnership.

Through the unifying power of sport, our two nations continue to encourage, uplift, and celebrate one another in the true spirit of solidarity. Sport transcends borders โ€” it builds bridges of friendship, fosters mutual understanding, and reminds us that our journeys, though distinct, are deeply connected.

As we reflect on this historic milestone, the Bhutan Paralympic Committee reaffirms its commitment to strengthening ties with India, particularly in advancing opportunities for para-athletes and promoting inclusive sport across our region.

May this valued relationship continue to deepen and flourish for generations to come.

From Bhutan to India โ€” with profound respect, enduring friendship, and heartfelt good wishes. โค๏ธ
