The Baseball5 momentum keeps growing at Dechencholing HSS.

Today, we had the pleasure of introducing the exciting game of Baseball5 to Grade 6 students and they absolutely loved it.

𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓:
👦👧 105 kids, full of energy and curiosity
🎯 New skills, new friends and learning the fast paced urban format
😄 Smiles all around, another successful session

Session so far in 4 days, 499 young athletes has been introduced to Baseball5.

This program at Dechencholing HSS is not just about one school, it's a pilot model for BBSA's broader vision:

Starting 2027, BBSA aims to conduct Inter House Baseball5 Leagues in more schools from Primary Level to Higher Secondary Level.

Making diamond sports accessible to every student, everywhere.

The Baseball5 fever continues at Dechencholing HSS!

Today, we worked with Grade 7 students, introducing them to the fast, fun, and exciting format of Baseball5.

𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓:
👦👧 88 kids : eager to learn and play.
🎯 New faces, raw talent : many showing great promise in their very first session
🏆 Senior Category bound : Grade 7 will compete in the Senior House Category for the upcoming Inter-House Baseball5 League

Total students BBSA have trained in three days is 394 from grade 4,5 and 7 . It was incredible to see so many talented young athletes discovering their love for the diamond sports. The future is bright.

Today, we welcomed Grade 5 students for their very first taste of Baseball5 and what a session it was.

👦👧 171 kids – packed with energy and excitement.
🎯 New faces, new skills – learning the fast-paced urban format
😄 Non-stop action and smiles – from warm-ups to game play

306 students from Grade 4 and 5 have now been introduced to Baseball5

That's over 300 young athletes now familiar with the basics of this exciting, fast-growing sport.

Friday, we return for the Grade 7 session, focusing on the Senior House Category.

Today marked the beginning of something special at Dechencholing HSS.

We strike off our Baseball5 coaching sessions with Grade 4 students in preparation for the upcoming Inaugural Inter-House Baseball5 League (Junior & Senior Category).

👦👧 135 kids : full of energy and excitement!
🎯 First-time players : learning the basics of the fast-paced urban sport
😄 Smiles all around : from the very first throw to the final high-five

The energy was infectious, the enthusiasm was unmatched, and the future of Baseball5 in Bhutan looks brighter than ever.

The relationship between BBSA and Dechencholing HSS runs deep.

It all began back in 2021, when BBSA conducted its first-ever coaching clinic right here at Dechencholing. And guess what? Many of those same kids are still playing today, now as academy players, U18 national team members, and even coaches.

From that very first clinic, Dechencholing HSS has stood with us as a dedicated partner, opening its grounds, supporting our programs, and believing in the power of baseball and softball to transform young lives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Principal and the entire management team of Dechencholing HSS, for your unwavering support towards the development of Baseball, Softball, and Baseball5 for the youth of Bhutan.

𝐁𝐁𝐒𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was extra special, not just for the skills learned, but for the family bonds that grew stronger on the field.
We had the privilege of hosting some incredible sibling and cousin duos this year.

💚 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃:

Seeing older siblings mentor, guide, and cheer for their younger family members was one of the most beautiful sights of the camp.

They practiced together. Laughed together. Encouraged each other. And grew together,as players and as family.

This is what BBSA is all about, bringing families together through the love of baseball, softball and baseball5.
