Community Spotlight: Block 8 and Botswana Police
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Block 8 community and the Botswana Police Service for their critical role in marshaling and route safety during the race.
Your combined presence along the course ensured runner safety, effective traffic management, and smooth race flow throughout the event. From early morning setup to sustained visibility at key intersections, your professionalism, cooperation, and commitment were instrumental to a successful and incident-free race day.
Marshaling is demanding and often understated work, yet it is foundational to any well-run event. The dedication shown by both the Block 8 community members and the Botswana Police did not go unnoticed.
A Special Mention
A special word of thanks to Snocks Ntshonono, whose leadership and initiative were instrumental in rallying the Block 8 community to take up marshaling. Your coordination, mobilisation, and commitment ensured strong community presence along the route and contributed meaningfully to the safety and smooth ex*****on of the race.
Thank you for standing with the running community, for safeguarding the route, and for demonstrating the power of community action.
