I wish as opposition ( different parties), we shud be doing the following :

1. Avoiding to attack other opposition parties especially in Rallies
2. Use our energy and resources to explain the ills of BDP and the plight of Batswana under BDP government.
3. Supporting one party / candidate of an opposition party where a particular party has more chances yof wining a Constituency ....having more visibility n footprint.
4. Be seen to be more serious in our utterances n campaigns, avoiding personal attacks.
5. Be committed to regime CHANGE through your utterances n actions.

REMEMBER, a speaker is supposed to be on the podium for 10 minutes or 15 minutes max.....therefore use that time to send SOLID and relevant message to the masses.
BDP IS WATCHING....

I come in peace......

THE FUTURE OF ARTISTS IN BOTSWANA

SIMPLE SUGGESTIONS which dont need debate :

Govt shud come to the rescue of /assist those involved in the CREATIVE INDUSTRY because they are hard hit. For almost 2 years, they have not been getting any income due to the pandemic . Remember many artists are busy in the studios coming up with singles and new albums. They are trying to sell these new offerings electronically but it's not easy in our country due to our small population / market and 4 the fact that many Batswana are still electronically challenged.

Therefore my view is, govt shud ensure that radio stations in BW play more than 60 %of their music so that they GET more royalties from COSBOTS. Govt cud also make a deliberate move to encourage artists to record more during this pandemic and have a small fund to assist them to record more and more. Everyone involved in the creative arts to create more during the pandemic. Keep them busy..... This cud allow a big BOOM in the creative arts POST covid. MYSC, Botswana Tourism Authority and other stake holders to work on a plan and discuss with SA, Lesotho and Namibia for cultural exchange events. Each month or so, take 4 example, a band /group to perform in SA for couple of weeks. Pay their transport and performance fee. SA or the other country takes care of their accommodation and meals (which they may get sponsorship for). I tell u, they shud b plans in place for life POST covid........ By so doing Artists' spirits wud be revitalized and the furniture cud b BRIGHT.
IT'S DOABLE.....
