📚✨ Ever wished someone could read you like a book — and actually learn your story?
The Human Library Botswana is back! After our last event in 2019, we’re opening our shelves again — but our “books” are real people with real stories.
We’re looking for volunteers to be Human Books — people whose life journeys challenge stereotypes, spark curiosity, and inspire understanding.
If you’ve lived an experience others might not understand — this is your chance to be read, heard, and valued.
DM us or comment below to find out how to join the shelf. Your story could change someone’s mind… or even their life. ❤️

"We realized that stealing phones and other small things was just a waste of our time. So we started surveillance on families and businesses we'd identify, then after a while we would rob them without thinking about the consequences. I had everything then but of course that didn't last for long. One of my guys got arrested for such a stupid thing and he snitched. I received a 40 year prison sentence. At only 18, they sent me to maximum! I remember my first hour in there, almost lost my mind a couple of times." - Ex-Convict

Book Title: Non Conformist
"I was a loner for a good part of my life, very curious about the world too. I certainly didn't fit into many spaces but I found peace in my solitude. Religion mostly intrigued me, and I've tested all the waters when it comes to faith and belief systems to say the least. I've learnt to trust in the process and have taken very bold decisions because I understand the meaning of life and know what my purpose is. Life is really is what you make out of it."
Come read pages from her book this Saturday at the Human Library..
