Botswana is grappling with an overall shortage of blood and so I am asking all of us in Kanye North Constituency to donate blood on July 30, the day of the finals of the Thapelo Letsholo Sunday League at Swallows Grounds.

The League is not only about sport development and nurturing talent, it is also about being responsible citizens, it is about saving lives.

Let us please take advantage of the gathering for the finals, for all the teams participating in the league to donate blood and also ask friends, partners, family members and others to do same.

For health reasons, those who are playing on the day can not donate, so we urge them to bring partners, friends or family members who can donate in their place.
