Dear Vision Boys family,

As many of you know, our Captain, Tshiamo Mathowa, was injured before our last game and will unfortunately be out for the next few matches while he recovers. We want to update everyone on what happened (as we currently understand):

The injury occurred just before the match, preventing Tshiamo from playing.

He is now resting and receiving the care he needs. We ask everyone to give him space and support during this recovery period.

Tshiamo is not just our captain — he’s our teammate, friend, and part of the Vision Boys family.

We kindly ask all teammates, supporters, and friends to:

Respect his privacy while he recovers

From the first whistle to the 35th minute, Vision Boys FC controlled possession, tempo, and territory. The team created several clear-cut chances during this period but were unable to capitalise. With better finishing, the match could have been wrapped up early. Despite the missed opportunities, the boys kept their composure and continued to push with confidence.

The breakthrough eventually came, securing the only goal of the match and ultimately the three important points.

🧤 Keeper: Batlang Mopalo
The youngest goalkeeper in the squad delivered a memorable performance. Commanding his penalty area with maturity beyond his age, Mopalo organised the defence brilliantly, made crucial interventions, and showed excellent game awareness throughout. A performance that will boost his confidence moving forward.

⚡ Winger: Keneleone “Jozi” Seseko

The goal we conceded came in the last minutes of the game.

We also scored our first goal of the season after going three games without scoring or conceding.
