The sports minister Hon. Tumiso Rakgare has announced players sports grant which will be paid to players, both in the Primier league and the National First Division in South and north.

Categories are as follows:
Premier League player -P2,500.00
First Division team players - P1,500.00

No foreign player will be paid. This is a subsidy from government. Teams are equally urged to continue paying players as per individual contracts. Money from the ministry will be paid directly to players. Club's must apply for grants which will be paid for 3 months, being April, May, and June a relief for novel Corona virus (Covid 19.
