Player Development ✅

On 30 June, BDF Cheetahs players participated in the World Rugby Match Officiating Level 1 Course at SSKB, facilitated by World Rugby Match Officiating Educators Naledi Chabe and Aleck Maposa.

The course provided valuable insights into the Laws of the Game, their practical application, player welfare, and the role of the match official. By understanding the game through a referee’s perspective, our players are better equipped to make informed decisions on the field, improve discipline, and develop a deeper appreciation of the game.

At BDF Cheetahs, we believe that player development extends beyond physical performance. It includes developing knowledge, respect for the game, and a commitment to creating a safer and more enjoyable rugby environment for everyone.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Botswana Rugby Union and our educators, for their continued investment in developing knowledgeable players and strengthening rugby in Botswana.
