Thamaga Shooting Stars Sporting Club is proud to announce the appointment of Coach Botshelo Observer Pelokgosi as the club’s new Head Coach ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

Coach Pelokgosi joins the Shooting Stars family with a wealth of football experience spanning four decades as both a player and a coach. A holder of the prestigious CAF A Licence, he brings proven leadership, tactical knowledge and a remarkable track record of developing competitive teams and achieving success.

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Pelokgosi has guided clubs to significant milestones, including promotion to the Botswana Premier League with Mogoditshane Fighters, promotion with Nico United, successfully steering Holy Ghost away from relegation and leading Jwaneng Galaxy Ladies to an impressive league finish. He also led Tsabotlhe FC to a third finish in the First Division North League the previous campaign of 2025/2026 season.

His passion for the game, commitment to player development and winning mentality make him the ideal person to lead our ambitions.

As we prepare for the new campaign, we are confident that Coach Pelokgosi’s experience, professionalism and vision will inspire our players and help the club reach new heights.
