RULES

INTERNATIONAL POLE EXOTIC
CHAMPIONSHIP
«Pole CROWN»
Location: Belarus, Minsk Kalvariiskaia Street 1 club «Moulin Rouge»
Beginning of the championship: 5 th April at 1 pm
«Pole CROWN» CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
1 BASIC THESES OF CHAMPIONSHIP
1.1 Entry is open to anyone aged over 18 years on the moment of
apply for a proposal.
1.2 The competitors must not have medical contraindications to a sport
activity.
1.3 The competitors must not consume alcohol or any prohibited
substance prior to performing.
1.4 The competitor can refuse the ability to perform any time if his
personal health condition is not good.
1.5 Allowed to participate only competitors who paid the participation
fee.
1.6 Participation fees are not refundable if the competitors are unable
to attend on the championship for any reason.
1.7 The health and safety of competitors is a priority. The organizers
are not bear responsibility for any injuries or damages which can
happened with competitors on the championship. The competitors
acknowledge that exotic pole dance is a dangerous activity and as
such the competitors voluntarily accept the risks associated in
participating in the championship.
1.8 The competitors must have the medical insurance at the day of
championship. Medical insurance must include life and
health-insurance.
1.9 You must not apply any moisturizers, lotions, creams, oils or any
other substances that might rub off on the pole for 24 hours prior to
the event and on the event. It is strictly prohibited.
1.10 Grip aids are permitted if applied to the body only (Mighty grip, Dry
Hands, Ocun). You may not apply grip aids directly onto the
equipment it is strictly prohibited.
1.11 Only competitors and persons admitted by the approved by the
organizers may be in the dressing room.
1.12 Organizers don't take responsibility for the loss of things of the
contestants on the day of the competition championship.
1.13 Competitors who breaking the rules, regulations and code of ethics
may be disqualified by the Organizers and Judges at their
discretion during the competition and video entry.
1.14 It is in no way mandatory for the judges to comment or explain
grades awarded to the candidates: judges give the final result;
1.15 The Competitors must start off stage and wait to be announced
before walking out on to the stage. The Competitors will be
disqualified (for any reason) if they arriving late or failing to come
to the stage when announced.
1.16 The Competitors are entering on the championship by video entry.
The decision to enter a category should be based on dance
experience and awards.
1.17 The Competitors agree with the Championship Rules when they
apply for a proposal.
1.18 Organizers reserves the right to make modifications to the rules of
the championship at any time.
2 CATEGORIES
2.1 Amateur Category (all requirements)
- exotic/classique for 1-3 years
- Competitors who do not have professional sport and dancing career
- Must not be an instructor in any dance directions.
2.2 Semi-Professional Category exotic/classique more than 3 years and
have one of the following requirements:
- Competitors who do not have professional sport and dancing career
- If competitor are an instructor of exotic/classique
- If competitor have won Amateur Category exotic/classique
competitions.
2.3 Professional Category exotic/classique more than 3 years and have
one of the following requirements:
- Competitors who have professional sport and dancing career
- If competitor are an instructor of exotic/classique
- Competitors who have won 1st-3rd place in Semi-pro or Pro Categories
(no more than 2 times) in exotic/ classique competitions.
2.4 ELITE Category exotic/classique more than 3 years and have requirements:
- If competitor are an instructor of exotic/classique
- Competitors who have won 1st-3rd place in Pro Category (more than 2
times) in exotic/ classique competitions.
2.5 MEN Category exotic/classique more than 3 years and have
one of the following requirements:
- Competitors who have professional sport and dancing career
- If competitor are an instructor of exotic/classique
- Competitors who have won 1st-3rd place in Semi-pro or Pro Categories
(no more than 2 times) in exotic/ classique competitions.
2.6 Duets/GROUPS Category exotic/classique more than 2 years and can have
professional sport and dancing career, competitor is an instructor of
exotic/classique.
2.6 Organizers have the right to transfer a candidate to different category
if they decide that competitor fits there better.
3 REGISTRATION
3.1 The championship consists of two parts: video entry and
performance on the championship.
3.2 Every competitor must pass video entry. The participation fee are: 20
€. Participation fee is not refundable for competitors who will get
negative result in a video entry.
3.3 Competitors who pass video entry must pay participation fee 30 €. In
case of renunciation to execute the performance, for any reason and at
any time this happens, the fee is not refundable.
3.4 Competitor’s video should be no less than 2'00 minutes. The video
must demonstrate competitor’s capacity to present tricks, spins, strength
and flexibility movements, to be sure that competitor chose right
category.
3.5 Each сompetitor of the championship must send the application
follow the link https://form.jotformeu.com/93364936207362 December 3,
2019 until January 28, 2020 inclusive.
3.6 Presentation of the finalists list: February 5, 2020
4 MUSIC
4.1 The selected сompetitors have to provide the organizers with music
by FORM until 10th of March 2020 (MP3
format).
4.2 In the subject of email the сompetitor must write SURNAME with
what the competitor apply for a proposal.
4.3 Organizers of the championship can oblige the сompetitors to
change a music if any of the сompetitors choose the same music
composition. Music with a political, sexual content is forbidden. In other
cases leave it up to organizers.
4.4 Time requirement:
- Amateur Category between 2:00-3:00 minutes
- Semi-Professional Category between 3:00-3:30 minutes
- Professional Category between 3:00-4:00 minutes
- ELITE Category between 3:00-4:00 minutes
- MEN Category between 3:00-4:00 minutes
- Duets/GROUPS Category between 3:00-4:30 minutes
5 CLOTHING AND SHOES
5.1 The competitors must wear suitable dance attire at all times.
5.2 Clothes of the competitor cannot promote an individual pole school
or other business during the performances.
5.3 The costume can be made of any materials, except thorns and other
sharp objects. Strings and transparent underwear are forbidden Visible
lower body genitalia, real or otherwise, is not permitted.
5.4 Competitors will be judged on the criteria of appearance (make up,
costume).
5.5 The costume should matching with music, performance and idea.
5.6 The competitors must wear high heels shoes (MENS CAN DANCE WITHOUT SHOES), high
heels boots on platform are permitted.
6 PERFORMANCE CONTENT
6.1 The competitors in performance must use two poles one in static
mode and one in spinning mode, otherwise points will be reduce.
6.2 60-70 % of performance should include spins/movement, tricks
around the pole, floorwork/dance, strength moves, hand standings,
flexibility moves; 30-40 % of performance should include aerial tricks and
aerial inverts (without touching a floor).
6.3 Сompetitors will score based on appearance and presentation,
creativity, flexibility and extensions. Tricks are not the main criteria of
performance.
6.4 For the demonstration only tricks points will be reduce.
6.5 No potentially hazardous props are permitted (fire, fireworks, liquids,
quick substances). The competitor may use props, but must be
approved by organizers.
6.6 Judges can stop the performance at any moment if a health risk for
the сompetitor occurs or if the rules are not respected.
7 TECHNICAL CRITERIA OF THE STAGE AND POLES
2 poles: 1 static & 1 spinning. Diameter 42mm / Height 3,50m
Stage:
Length – 5 m
Width – 6 m
8 PRIZES
8.1 Сompetitors with the higher score in each category will in order 1st,
2nd and 3rd place.
8.2 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category will be awarded cash prizes
(1 place), also winners receive medals, diplomas.
8.3 All competitors will get «DIPLOMA OF PARTICIPATION» and prizes
from sponsors of championship.
8.4 The main prize will receive competitor who win 1 place in «ELITE»
category. Also winner «Stars» category’s will be invited as a honorary
judge on the championship «Pole CROWN 2021».
9 PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
9.1 Organizers have rights to live streaming of championship.
9.2 All photography and video materials remains the property of
Organizers.
9.3 Сompetitors have no right to compensation for photography and and
video materials made as part of the competition.
9.4 As a competitor, you agree that all photography and footage can be
used by Organizers for promotional, advertising and commercial
purposes
