The Belize National Under 16 Football Team is safely in Nicaragua and here are pics from their training today! Go BELIZE! First game is set for tomorrow 17/11/2015 against Nicaragua at 8 pm. We have two of our very own Orange Walk Players in the selection Glenn Johan Richard Tillett and Jemario Deandre Sanabria who are members of the OWFA Youth Academy. We wish them all the best in their games and every success in representing the Jewel.

Congratulations to the Orange Walk Under-15 Male Selection for performing well at the FFB National Under-15 Male Tournament held on August 17-20 where they brought home the Silver Cup 2nd Place. A game well played and I know that they indeed won that game even though officially they came 2nd from a total of 10 teams who participated from throughout the entire country.
I would like to thank Technical Director Eloy Avila, Coach Alvaro Marin, Coach Roberto Montero and Coach Glenn Tillett for being there for our youths, always encouraging them to give their best. I paid off after all as 6 players have been selected to continue their training at the FFB given the opportunity will represent us in the next U-15 Tournament held by CONCACAF and UNCAF.

FIFA Fitness Training Program currently going on at the FFB Goal Project in Belmopan. We have our very own coaches participating in this program to develop their skills which they will pass on to our youths in the District so that they can be better trained.

Orange Walk Football Association Promoting organized football under the FFB, CONCACAF and FIFA in the District

FFB President Ruperto Vicente and General Secretary Michael Blease present for the OWFA Grassroot Festival with Technical Director Renan Couoh and Chairman Rafael Avila along our very own Technical Director Mr. Eloy Avila and Coaches Carlos Umaña, Mrs. Marina Roberts and Mr. Montero assisted by one of our finest young players Randy Agustine. We encourage our young football players both male and female to participate and become a part of the Academy so as to be able to develop their skills and eventually be a National Team Player either in the U-13, U-15 or U-17 level. To become a National Player you must be registered in the Academy as this is a requirement from the FFB.

Day 2 with the FFB Technical Director giving the females a few instructions and tips on how to head a ball and how to position body when kicking a ball to team mate. Important factors to develop their skills to perfection.

The FFB Technical Director Mr. Renan Couoh was in Orange Walk re-launching the OWFA Talent School Youth Academy which was initiated last year but unfortunately was put on hold after 6 months working with our youths. The U-13, U-15 & U-17 Academies will be put in place and come August the FFB will have its first Talent School Inter-district Tournaments in the different levels. Earlier this week we the Football Federation of Belize had a meeting with the Mayors of Belize to partner with the District Associations in sponsoring a Mayors Cup in every municipality! This is the beginning of a new era in sports for Belize working hand in hand for the future of our youths in our country.

From May 6-9, 2015 the Football Federation will be having the National Technical Director Mr. Renan Couoh in the Orange Walk District to restructure the Talent School Program.
On Wednesday May 6 U-13, Thursday May 7 U-15 and Friday May 8 U-17 from 4 pm - 6 pm at the People's Stadium.
On Saturday May 9 a Grass root Festival for children ages 10-12 yrs both male and female from 8 am to 11:30 am. All children in these age groups are invited to participate in these activities and become part of the Football Federation of Belize Youth Development Program. For the Good of the Game!
