Awesome day on the mats with the Scouts 🇧🇿💪

The Belize Wrestling Federation was proud to host a wrestling seminar for the Scout kids focusing on fundamental skills, discipline and building confidence through the sport 🤼‍♂️🔥.
Alongside wrestling, we also introduced “stranger danger” awareness to help equip these young athletes with important life skills for their safety 🛡️👊.

We are beyond excited to announce our partnership with the Santa Elena Jaguar Scouts for a special youth workshop! 🤝🛡️

🗓️ When: March 28th | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

📍 Where: 35 George Price Avenue

What: We’ll be teaching wrestling takedowns to build physical strength and confidence, alongside vital “Stranger Danger” awareness to help our scouts stay safe and alert of their surroundings. 👣👀

Alexa Smith (110lbs) 🤼‍♀️

Alexa Smith entered the high school ranks “with a bang,” capturing a Southern Section title in her debut season. As the No. 2 seed at the CIF State Tournament, she bypassed the “state jitters” to systematically dismantle her bracket.

After a hard-fought battle against a veteran adversary in the State Finals, Smith’s silver-medal finish serves as a definitive historical marker. She leaves Bakersfield as a “force to be reckoned with” and a foundational superstar with three years left to turn that silver into a permanent golden legacy. 🥈➡️🥇
