Our Story

Westrac Ltd in cooperation with Pure Guard Oil are the proud sponsors of this team. The team has been representing these brands with the dedication and the quality needed to keep sponsorship for over four years. Westrac Ltd the leading retailer of automotive, agricultural, and industrial parts also has integrated employees into the cycling family. Keion Robateau and the Mark Dueck are both part of Westrac Ltd and this cycling team. Pure Guard, a key part of the team sponsorship, is a well know oil in Belize and their support ensures that this team can hold on to the top riders and keep them in some of the highest quality gear in the cycling team. The Westrac Alliance Cycling Team was formed 4 years ago, in May 2015. The team is managed by Mr. Vanegas and Mark Dueck. Vanegas is a man with extensive experience and knowledge in the world of cycling. He works together with Mark Dueck, a man truly passionate about cycling. Together they oversee and guide a team composed of both Elite and Junior riders. The team members include: Angel Tzib, Darren Bellini, Gian Lino, Herman Requena, Nissan Arana, Shane Jones, and Shawn Armstrong.

The support, the team’s dedication, and quality of riders has already paid off in 2019, with wins in the Belmopan Classic and the 3rd Annual Ernest Meighan Cycling Classic, as well as podium finishes in the Junior Category for multiple races as well. Multiple riders in the team can boast having been part of the Belize Team Selection and representing their country. This type of success and aspirations are what drives this team forward and towards the finishing line every time they get on their bikes.
