I really should have announced this earlier ... I just got preoccupied with guests at Crystal Bay Retreat ... Anyway, I want to thank my daughter Shelby for helping put together the new website for the Dust to Diamonds: Houston-Belize United Baseball - HBU efforts here in Belize! Sorry for the delay! CYCAS and Dust to Diamonds had a fantastic collaborative effort to bring together 8 schools to participate in the first school baseball tournament. The schools were all representing the District of Corozal and was played over a three day period of time. Congratulations to all 8 teams/schools as they are a year ahead of the other schools in Belize! A special thank you to Corozal Mayor Rigo Vellos for sponsoring the championship trophy.
Each of the teams named players to the Dust to Diamonds Youth All-Star teams representing Belize Corozal District. The teams are:
Corozal Town Stingrays
Corozal Village Diamondbacks
The teams will meet for the first time this Saturday and will be measured for uniforms and meet their coaches!!
