The Road to the Olympics 2028 Has comence!

BELIZEAN JUDOKAS SHOW GRIT AT CENTRAL AMERICAN GAMES IN GUATEMALA

Belize’s judo team competed on Friday at the 12th Central American Games in Guatemala. Marcello Salam (-60kg), Michael Ortiz (-66kg), and Ishmael Castro (-90kg) all advanced into the repechage rounds but missed out on medals.

Castro reached the final block in his category before an injury forced him to withdraw. Despite the setbacks, the team displayed strong effort and determination throughout the competition.

For the flag, for the heart — give it everything, Team Belize! 🇧🇿”

Tomorrow, October 17th, the Belize National Judo Team steps onto the international stage at the Central American Games in Guatemala City.
