Here we share with you the details of the results of the performance of our Nutrition Coach and female powerlifting athlete Shakira Oxley-Tsai who competed in the recently held 2024 NAPF Regional Powerlifting Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Oxley-Tsai was the first Belizean lifter to compete as she competes in the lighter weight class of 52kg (Lifter needs to weigh between 114.5 - 125lbs).
Here are the stats:
Her body weight clocked in at 53.3 kg (117.3 lbs)
Squats:
1st Attempt: 82.5 kg | 181.5 lbs - Good lift
2nd Attempt: 90 kg | 198 lbs - No lift
3rd Attempt 3: 90 kg | 198 lbs - Good lift
Bench:
1st Attempt: 45 kg | 99 lbs - Good lift
2nd Attempt: 50 kg | 110 lbs - Good lift
3rd Attempt: 52.5 kg | 115.5 lbs - No lift
Deadlift:
1st attempt: 120 kg | 264 lbs - Good lift
2nd attempt: 130 kg | 286 lbs - No lift
3rd attempt: 130 kg | 286 lbs - Good lift
Championship Total: 270 kg | 594 lbs
She set a new PR (personal record) for her championship total and earned 4 bronze medals for Team Belize powerlifting (one for each of the three lifts and for her overall championship total).
