Shark Week is the perfect reminder that these animals aren’t the villains of the ocean - they’re the reason it thrives!
As apex predators, sharks keep marine ecosystems healthy and balanced. Remove them, and the ripple effect reaches everything beneath the surface. Coral reefs suffer, fish populations change, food webs collapse... and eventually, our oceans become quieter, emptier places.
No sharks. No healthy ocean. It’s really that simple. So yeah... guess who’s back? 🤪

Today, we are incredibly proud to have two Splash teams participating in the Battle of the Paddles in Placencia!
💙 One team is competing in the Racing Canoes Category , and our future champions are proudly representing us in the Youth Category.
This event is much more than a race; it's a celebration of community, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and the importance of protecting the beautiful Placencia Lagoon and its surrounding environment.
A special thank you to Splash Dive Center and Arrecife Handmade for making it possible for both teams to participate today. Supporting our community and creating opportunities for our youth through sports is something we truly believe in.
To all the paddlers, thank you for representing our organizations with pride. Paddle hard, enjoy every moment, and know that we are cheering for you every stroke of the way!
