NOTICE: Temporary closure of the Xunantunich archaeological reserve.
The Institute of Archaeology, National Institute of Culture and History, hereby advises tour operators, tour guides, and the general public that due to the ongoing upgrade of the George Price Highway in San Jose Succotz Village, Cayo district, it has become necessary for the closure of the Xunantunich archaeological reserve until October 14, 2024.
