Behind every good kid is a great dad!
I love when summertime comes around and I get dad and son duos fishing with me. It feels great to be a part of making memories, and catching them too.

Tarpon’s favourite snack is ever changing, making it difficult to know for certain what they will be chewing on from month to month or season to season, but these little guys are what’s popular with the Tarpons for the moment.

That moment last summer when I was visiting my daughter in Spain, and during our visit to the Valley of Nuria, I spotted a man fishing trout.

Different scenery, different catch, but the same love for fishing! It’s always such a pleasure to meet people who share the same love for fishing as I do.

The goal is always to fish, but with the beauty of nature, sometimes a little site seeing gets in the way.

When I'm not out fishing, I'm preparing myself for the next time I'm out!

Another long time customer, Sonny Culp from Birmingham, AL was here this week fishing with me. On Tuesday Sonny caught at 15lb Permit and today he took along his friend Chris and after an hour of fighting Chris reeled in a 60lb Tarpon. The fish are surely biting right now!

Three great days out in the flats last week with my long time customer, Eric Holstman along with his friends Brant, Gary and Tim.

There are times when fishing requires a whole lot of patience! This beautiful permit was Robert's reward after three days of constancy. There's no doubt in that the things we work hardest for are the most rewarding!

Grand Slam again!!! Amazing! The weather and the water were beautiful. The first day we caught lots of bonefish. They were not the biggest, but they're all muscle. They never go down quietly and put up a huge fight before letting themselves be hauled in. The second day, we got a bonefish and an impressive powerful tarpon. On the final day, we got the icing on our cake: we managed to outsmart the elusive permit! Great job, Spence. It was a pleasure being your guide and spending your birthday with you on this memorable fishing expedition. Happy Birthday, again!

Wes finally got his well-deserved Grand Slam Certificate from THE INTERNATIONAL GAME FISH ASSOCIATION (IGFA)!
In case you are not aware, the IGFA is the leading international authority on game fishing and the keeper of the most current World Records for fishing catches.

We knew the trip was one to remember and now the trip is officially memorialized through an internationally-recognized certificate.

I am very proud to be a part of these amazing achievements. Way to go, Wes!
