Volunteer Abbotsford

A great time was had by all who were able to attend our Volunteer Appreciation dinner this evening, graciously funded by our sponsor, Envision Financial. Great food and great company, all accompanied by an evening filled with lots of laughs. A huge Thank You to all of our volunteers for all that they do! 💙💚

We couldn't do what we do without all of our amazing volunteers. We are fortunate to have so many members who are so giving of their time which makes it possible for us to give back to our community the way that we do. Not only during this Volunteer Appreciation Week, but every week, we appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

It's a great day for some hockey! If it weren't enough to cheer our Abbotsford Canucks on while they take on the San Diego Gulls.. it's also Top Dogs night and these adorable pups are just a few of the ones available for adoption tonight!

Volunteer Abbotsford is excited to be hosting at the Stars on Ice show at Rogers Forum tonight! We are looking forward to world class figure skating with several Olympic Medalists, World Champions, Canadian Champions and US Champions performing this evening!

This weekend, on behalf of all of our volunteers, we were honoured to donate a cheque for $5,000 to the Abbotsford Fire Fighters Association & Charitable Society.

The AFFA is made up of dedicated men and women from in and around our community who are constantly devoting themselves to bettering the City of Abbotsford, both on and off the job. They strive to make a difference by volunteering their time for multiple charitable and community service initiatives.

From us at Volunteer Abbotsford, we thank you for all that you do in and around our community.

This weekend, we at Volunteer Abbotsford were honoured to donate a cheque for $5,000 to Abbotsford Police Victim Services .

The purpose of APVS is to support victims and witnesses of crime or traumatic events to help lessen trauma, prevent re-victimization, and guide them through the criminal justice system. The service is volunteer-based and operates 24/7 for crisis response at the request of the police.

A huge thank you to the volunteer team for all that you do, we appreciate you.
