Abbotsford Curling Club Women’s is hosting the BC Mixed Doubles U21 Qualifier for the 2027 Canada Winter Games.

Come watch 12 of BC’s top U21 mixed doubles teams compete for one spot to represent BC at the Canada Winter Games (Feb 26 to Mar 15, 2027 in Quebec).

The Abbotsford Curling Club is hosting the 2026 BC Mixed Doubles Championship at Abbotsford Curling Club from January 15 to 18, 2026 and admission is free for all draws!

We are especially proud to have two teams representing our club:

Come down to watch the action live, or if you’re out of town, we’ll be streaming the games so you can still cheer them on.

This event brings together some excellent mixed doubles teams from across BC, so even if you don’t know every name on the draw, you’ll be watching some great curling all weekend.

Curl BC will be qualifying one team to attend the 2026 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championships, March 21-27, 2026 in Cloverdale, BC.

2026 BC Mixed Doubles Curling Championship | Curl BC Curl BC will be qualifying one team to attend the 2026 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championships, March 21-27, 2026 in Cloverdale, BC.

Ever wanted to try curling? Bring out your friends and family to try something new and have some fun.

Adults and children welcome! Helmets mandatory for children 12 and under. We do not provide helmets. Bring clean running shoes, and dress warmly, including mitts or gloves.

Sessions include all equipment, on-ice instruction and game time.

This year’s Abbotsford Senior Mixed Curling Bonspiel is a celebration of Canadian curling tradition, maple leaf pride, and the camaraderie that makes our sport great. This bonspiel captures everything we love about being Canadian curlers: the grit and grace on the ice, the warmth and laughter off it, and the pride we take in our northern heritage.

Think classic Canadiana meets competitive spirit – plaid and maple leaves, hard sweeping and harder celebrating, and that uniquely Canadian combination of fierce competition and genuine friendship. This isn't just a bonspiel—it's a heartfelt toast to our heritage, community, curling, and the True North strong and free.
Curling is an excellent activity for seniors—improving balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility while challenging strategic thinking and teamwork skills. It's also a wonderful way to socialize and connect with fellow curlers from across our community.

Eligibility & Team Composition
This bonspiel is open to curlers 50 years of age or older. Teams should ideally be balanced with 2 women and 2 men, although 3 women and 1 man is acceptable. Players may be positioned in any order—alternating by gender is not required. Teams will be assigned to either Group A (early draws) or Group B (late draws).

The 2025 Abbotsford Curling Classic Cashspiel, presented by Major Welding, is happening at the Abbotsford Curling Club this weekend, November 21 to 23, 2025. Join us for three full days of top-tier competitive curling.

This year features 16 Men’s teams and 8 Women’s teams competing in a triple-knockout format, fighting through a packed schedule to reach Sunday’s playoffs.

Friday: 8:00 am, 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 8:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am, 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 8:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am, 1:00 pm, 5:00 pm
