We invite you all to attend a celebration of life for the late Sensei Linda Squires. The party - my mom’s preferred word choice - will be on May 15th from 1:00 till 4:00pm at the Red Harp pub in Acton. Life is meant to be a celebration, and every moment cherished to the fullest. Hope to see you there.

I am sorry to say that for family reasons Acton Jiu-Jitsu will be closed but will reopen with the beginning of March. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we truly look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Hi all! Some good news to provide!
We can resume classes on Jan 31 which for Us will be Tues Feb 1!!!

Hi everyone! By now many of you have heard about Doug Ford’s announcement of today.
We are heading into lockdown but not until midnight tomorrow night so will hold both classes at usual times.
It is unfortunate to say the least but hopefully it won’t be for too long.
As martial artists we remain optimistic and will return bigger and better!

Please note that our dojo will be closed only on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Regular classes will continue as usual Tues and Thurs.
When asked if we were taking a break for the holidays, Sensei David and I agreed that we had more than a long enough break during lockdown!

It should also be noted that we have cancelled our usual Christmas party because of climbing Covid numbers and in the interest of keeping us all safe! We are hoping for a “Christmas in July” party!!!

Effective today, Ontario’s mandate for all people over 18 to show proof of Covid vaccination to enter the dojo is required.
