Happy day to those who celebrate -provincial race registration season has started!
Airdrie BMX is a non-profit organization operating a BMX racing club and track located in Fletcher Park at the north end of Airdrie, Alberta.
All ages and abilities are welcome to join and participate in this exciting sport. BMX racing is a sport for all ages. A BMX race consists of three motos, each moto is one full all out sprinting lap of the track. Up to 8 riders can race at one time. Points are given to racers placing 1st to 8th. First place is 1 point, 2nd is 2 points and so on down to eighth place. At the end of three motos the points are tallied and the day's placing's are determined. The rider with the lowest points wins.

Annnd again, no BMX'ing here today
Well… at this point we’re pretty sure BMX parents could qualify as meteorologists.
The track is closed due to rain and wet conditions. While we’d love to be riding, protecting the track now helps prevent bigger repairs later and gets us back on it sooner.
We’ll continue to monitor the forecast, radar, puddles, clouds, wind direction and that one weather app that always says something different than the others.
We will keep everyone updated.
