It's no surprise why Back Squats will be heavily featured in our EDR Lift class.
This compound exercise moves all the joints in the lower body so mobility is key 🗝️
If you lack the mobility to get comfortably in the bottom of the squat try these two exercises:
➡️ Goblet squat: the goblet squat can be loaded with a kettlebell or dumbbell. Elevate your heels as much as you need to help you stay upright in the bottom.
➡️Front foot elevated split squats: this movement allows you to train the full range of a squat, 1 leg at a time. Elevate your front foot as much as you need to get your hamstring to touch your calf.
Now go get squatting!

Do you have trouble doing push-ups? Try this!
A bodyweight push-up is CORE to many workout programs, but less than half of people I meet with are able to perform one full push-up properly. Usually, coaches give push-ups from the knees as an alternative. Unfortunately, knee push-ups and push-ups from the toes requires very different levels of strength in the core to keep the body in a straight line, so clients often get stuck, never progressing to full push-ups!
The incline push-up is the better way to build strength in your upper body and core to prepare for doing full push-ups!
