What a great camp! 💪

Day 1 of the Judo Ontario Fall Camp is complete!

A great start to the new season and the first camp led by our new Head Coach, Sasha Mehmedovic. Great to see all the athletes and coaches on the mat, getting ready for the first events of the season.

We’re back tomorrow for Day 2, featuring Keagan Young!

A bit of fun this week! Can you help us identify these judoka from Toronto’s judo history?

We believe this photograph was taken at Hatash*ta Judo Club in Toronto sometime in the 1960s, although we’re hoping members of the judo community can help us confirm that.

We’ve numbered the 22 people in the photograph and would love to put names to as many faces as possible.

Do you recognize anyone? Please comment with the number and name — and, if you have any memories or stories about them, we’d love to hear those too.

Please share this with former judoka, sensei and anyone connected with the Ontario judo community. With a little collective knowledge, perhaps we can identify everyone in the photograph and preserve some of this history.
