🎓 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT: Aysia 💫

Our second grad spotlight of the season goes to the incredible Aysia. Over the years, Aysia has become one of the most improved dancers to ever dance at ADC — all through her hard work, dedication, and passion for dance. We have always admired how much she takes on in and out of the studio and how she continues to accomplish everything with such grace and determination. 💖

We are so proud of how far you have come and all the hard work you’ve put in to become the dancer and young woman you are today. It has truly been an honour to be a part of your journey. 🩰

What is your favourite style of dance?
Tap and jazz

What was your favourite routine?
Washed Away

What is your favourite memory?
My favourite memory was the first time our team made it into a dance off. (Princess Dance)

What are your plans for your Post-Secondary studies?
Aerospace engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University

What biggest lesson did dance bring you?
The biggest lesson dance has taught me is to give myself grace and keep showing up, even during difficult seasons. Life outside the studio can sometimes feel heavy, but I’ve learned that growth doesn’t always look perfect. What matters is continuing to try, learn, and support the people around you.

What is your main goal for the future?
My main goal for the future is to pursue aerospace engineering and continue growing into someone who is hardworking, resilient, and always willing to learn. Dance has taught me discipline and perseverance, and I hope to carry those lessons with me into whatever comes next.

What advice do you have to give to young dancers?
My advice to younger dancers is to work hard, stay confident, and enjoy every moment. The years go by quickly, so don’t spend too much time doubting yourself. Trust your growth and make the most of every opportunity.

Our very first grad spotlight of the season goes to the beautiful Miranda. From stepping on stage for her very first ballet solo in 2016 at just 8 years old, to now celebrating her graduating season, it has been so special watching her grow into the incredible dancer and young woman she is today. 💖

Through every injury, every stumble, and every moment of growth, Miranda you have continued to shine with strength, grace, and determination. We are beyond proud of everything you have accomplished and cannot wait to see where life takes you next. 🩰

What is your favourite style of dance?
My favourite style of dance is ballet.

What was your favourite routine?
Either here comes the sun or fly girlz.

What is your favourite memory?
Falling asleep on the desks at comp and waking up with random cheese and meat all over my face.

What are your plans for your Post-Secondary studies?
Going to Trent to become a elementary school teacher.

What biggest lesson did dance bring you?
Even when life is hard, I could always rely on dance.

What is your main goal for the future?
To always keep dancing, as it is my home.

What advice do you have to give to young dancers?
When you win stay humble, when you lose stay positive.
