Session #2 with the crew here. Repetitions for elasticity and power development has been noted. Great work boys.
End of session race!
First session bounding with these gentlemen here.
In short, I like using Bounds to develop single leg RFD for acceleration in sprints.
Technique will as there are some energy leaks or kinks to work on! Well done!
1st session with Trent, took away energy leaks and tweaked technique in favoring of force application.
Fridays are more high intensity days for exposure to movements that require a bit more effort and energy.
SAID Principle can be defined as "Specific Adaptations Imposed Demands," in short because soccer does require some intensive movements that need to be performed at a high competition level, I implemented a lateral reactive agility movement thay rewuires to lock in and focus.
The mirror drill (Last clip) is a fantastic way to attempt effort at the highest to mirror the opponent. I categorized it as myself the attacker and Abass the defender so he would try to stay on my movements.
Had a bit of competition at the end of Abass's session, swipe right to see who did the punishment. 🤣
Some of David's highlight from this session. Solid work.
Mid week session summary with Abass. Enjoy the recorded highlights
Some more work with Abass.
Getting him prepped for his season supposedly starting in May.
Good work man.
3 coloured cone defensive drill.
- Stay on the toes
- reaction
- 2 touches
A simple drill to keep the individual on their feet and where defenders have to accelerate and back pedal short distances.
