Lots of activity this week at the ball diamond. Our batting cage got an upgrade. No more weeds! Thanks to Les for working hard to get our ball players out this season to use the batting cage! Looks great!

Tonight, the Alma Softball Association had the pleasure and honour of presenting Coach Jim with a brand new parachute for the T-Ball kids. As many know, the parachute has become a legendary part of Coach Jim’s T-Ball program and a favourite tradition for so many young players over the years. 🥎

Jim, thank you for your countless years of dedication, passion, and commitment to the Alma T-Ball program. Our community is incredibly fortunate to have someone so caring and selfless giving back to the kids year after year. The memories, smiles, and love of the game you’ve helped create will last a lifetime for so many families.

Alma Softball friends. We are looking for some weekly help with dragging the diamond and cutting grass. We are looking for local volunteers with lawn tractors/tractors that could join the team by helping with field maintenance. This is essential to ensure our diamond is in good shape and safe for the kids to play on. If you or anyone you know would be interested in helping out, please reach out.

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight to support Alma minor softball in raising funds towards our new pitching machine and repairs to our batting cage. It was a great time playing bingo. We had a few winners from our group which was great to see.
Our next fundraising event will be in September so stay tuned 🙂
