🚨 NEW CENTENNIAL UP FRONT 🚨

The Centennials are proud to announce that Forward Liam Bosum has committed to our Premier team for the upcoming season.

Standing at 6’0” and 155 lbs, Liam brings speed, skill, and offensive creativity to the Centennials’ lineup. Hailing from Oujé-Bougoumou, Quebec, he joins OVC after spending last season with Niagara Christian College 18U Prep. Prior to that, Liam competed in the CSSHL with CIH Academy, gaining valuable experience in some of North America’s top prep hockey leagues.

Entering his first season of junior hockey, Liam is ready to take the next step in his development. A skilled forward with excellent puck skills, strong hockey IQ, and the ability to create offensive opportunities, he adds another dynamic element to the Centennials’ attack. His work ethic and commitment to improving make him an exciting addition as the team continues to build for the upcoming season.

We’re excited to welcome Liam to Ottawa and look forward to seeing him wear the Centennials jersey this season!

Standing at 6’4” and 195 lbs, Ivan brings a combination of size, strength, and skill to the Centennials’ lineup. Hailing from Oujé-Bougoumou, Quebec, he joins OVC after spending last season with Niagara Christian College 18U Prep, where he continued to develop his game against strong competition.

Entering his first season of junior hockey, Ivan is ready to take the next step in his development and make an immediate impact. His physical presence, willingness to compete, and upside make him an exciting addition as the Centennials continue to build for the upcoming season.

The Centennials are proud to announce that D Dexter Pinhey will be returning to our Premier team for the upcoming season.

A native of Oxford Station, ON, Dexter was one of the most dependable players in our inaugural season, suiting up in 41 of 44 regular season games. A steady, reliable presence on the blue line, he brought physicality, consistency, and a team-first mentality every time he stepped on the ice.

Now entering his 18-year-old season, Dexter is ready to take the next step in his development. With a full year of Premier experience under his belt, we’re excited to see him build on that foundation and put together a breakout season.

We’re proud to officially launch Centennial Sports Academy; Ottawa’s premier 18U Prep hockey program built for driven student-athletes who are committed to reaching the next level.

Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Centennial Sports Academy delivers a true high-performance environment that combines elite hockey development with unmatched exposure opportunities all within an academically friendly schedule.

This fall, we’ll be icing our inaugural 18U Prep Team, led by Head Coach Ryan Fraser. Players will compete against top programs from across Canada and the United States in the Tier 1 Hockey Federation (THF), United Tier 1 Hockey League (UT1HL), and the North American Prep Hockey League (NAPHL).

The Centennial Sports Academy experience includes:

- 4 on-ice practices each week
- 4 off-ice strength & conditioning sessions each week
- 1–2 team video analysis sessions each week
- 50–60+ game season, including league play, showcases, playoffs, and national championships
- Charter coach bus transportation, meals, and hotel accommodations provided for non-local games, showcases, and events
- Direct affiliation opportunities with the Ottawa Valley Centennials (USPHL Premier)
- Academic-friendly schedule, allowing athletes to continue attending their local brick-and-mortar schools while balancing high-performance hockey demands

Sawyer, from Carleton Place, Ontario, returns to the Centennials after establishing himself as a skilled, hardworking forward with a strong compete level.

Entering his 20-year-old season, Sawyer chose the USPHL and the Ottawa Valley Centennials because he was looking for a program and league that provided the development, exposure, and opportunities needed to help him advance beyond junior hockey next season. His speed, offensive instincts, and relentless work ethic make him an exciting addition to our lineup as he continues pursuing his goal of playing at the next level.

We’re excited to welcome Sawyer back to OVC and look forward to seeing him make an impact both on and off the ice this season.

The Centennials are proud to announce that D/F Aaron MacLeod will be returning to our Premier team for the upcoming season.

Aaron, from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, appeared in a variety of roles throughout the inaugural season, spending most of his time on the back end. His reliable play, physical presence, and team-first attitude made him an important piece of the lineup and a player the coaching staff could count on in all situations.

Entering his 20-year-old season, Aaron’s experience and leadership will be a valuable asset as we continue to build on the success of our first year.

We’re excited to welcome Aaron back to OVC and look forward to seeing him make an impact this season.
