AKC - EVOLVING IS SUCCESS
As previously posted, your Amherstburg Karate Club is on the cusp of our first schedule change in years. A testament to our dojo's success and retention capabilities, thus we have created a Beginner Teen/Adult class.
Secondly, instructors have been assigned based on current needs. Black belts remain the primary teachers of all age levels, with our AKC Brown Belts assisting at every level. This ensures appropriate student/instructor ratio and enables our Sempais to gain valuable teaching and leadership experience.
Advanced Teen/Adults - The rank requirements for this class is Advanced Blue Belt. (Blue w/ Black Stripe, which denotes Brown stripe) The class is designed to have increased intensity, highest standards, and students preparing for senior level rankings. Students are required to have the enthusiasm, hunger to learn, and are prepared to take their Karate journey to the next level.
New Schedule begins Friday September 11, 2026.

This past Sunday, your Amherstburg Karate Club celebrated our 5th Year Anniversary 💙!
A free class was provided for each age group, followed by demonstrations. A lovely Chocolate Cake was provided by Sempai Marko's Grand- Mother Bilja, delicious treats from Eli's parents and AKC provided Pizza from Capri Amherstburg! Thank you!
We would like to thank our Amherstburg community, Encounter Church , and Amherstburg Community Services for providing us with a location to ensure our business success. Ron Giofu (River Town Times), all our students (past amd present), our AKC families, friends and our support at home. Wow, we have a phenomenal set-up of great people, in our beloved town, Amherstburg.
Thank you, to everyone, AKC is going strong and will always strive to deliver our best. AKC will continue to positively evolve and strengthen our knowledge and experience, in order to provide an environment where our students can thrive!
