Huge thank you to Kooman’s Racing for letting Ryan jump in the car last night — what an awesome opportunity!
This was Ryan’s first time in a car all year and the first time back in a Mini Mod since 2019, so it definitely took a few laps to shake the rust off. He started outside pole in the heat, but the car was a bit tighter than what he usually likes. Still brought it home 4th and got some good feedback to work with.
The team made some adjustments before the feature — huge thanks to Bonner Racing and Steve Crawford for jumping in to help out. Ryan started 8th and the car felt much better. He was able to settle in and drive it up to a 6th place finish.
Can’t thank Koomans Racing enough for the seat time while we’re still getting our own car together. Nothing like being back at the track in a Mini Mod again!

The Mini Mod build kept rolling with a few more hours in the shop over the past few days.
Thursday night we got the bushings in and the J-bar installed. Then last night, we leveled out the frame and started fitting the deck panels—things are really starting to take shape now.
Laine’s loving these race nights and cant wait to have another Mini Mod out on the track!
Big thanks to Cam Bonner, Nikki Meyers-Bonner, Dean Bonner, Bryce Bonner, Keith Bonner, Austin Pickering, Logan Bonner, Emery Bonner, and Corey Tetzlaff for coming out and putting in the time. Every hour counts, and we’ve got a solid crew making it happen!

A couple more hours went into the Mini Mod build Monday night, and we knocked a few key things off the list.
We raised the rear ride height, swapped out the bolts on the trailing arms, set the spacers, and got the lengths dialed in on both the trailing arms and pull bar. We also got the J-bar much closer to where it needs to be.
It’s all in the details right now, but every adjustment gets us one step closer.
Big thanks to Deanbryce Bonner, Corey Tetzlaff, Cam Bonner, Nikki Meyers-Bonner and Amy Finn for coming out and putting in the time. Builds like this don’t come together without nights like that.
