Tyler Bowe was last seen in his hometown of Whitehorse, Yukon Canada on April 30, 1983.

Tyler was born and raised in Williams Lake, British Columbia. He earned his nickname "Tiger" when he was a member of a local boxing club. Tyler was enjoyed horseback riding and was part of the rodeo.

Tyler was helping a local resident round up stray horses in a bushy are near Alligator Lake, approximately thirty kilometers south of Annie Road.

Although Tyler was a "bush wise" trapper, he had no food or camping gear with him. The chances of him surviving in the wilderness overnight would be difficult because temperatures would drop below freezing. If Tyler left the area, he may have been seen hitchhiking south along the Alaska Highway near Teslin, Yukon.

Tyler's case was presumably closed in 2011, due to the website holding his case information shutting down. However, he has never been publicly reported as found. Tyler's mother believes he is deceased.
