There is no hate for what someone chooses to do with thier career. But there is an issue when someone and/or a company create an image that female athletes have been working so hard against. We want to give Sensei Ryan a huge congratulations on earning his full black uniform. At LH, your full black uniform is a massive milestone. Right behind your black belt. It represents not only a students ability to teach but the time, dedication, and commitment they've put in to giving back to the dojo and to the students following in thier footsteps. The ONLY person who can make this call is Sensei Mers as it signifies her trust in you to lead classes independently. Its not a milestone that comes easy, nor is it a milestone to be taken lightly. "With great power comes great responsibility" 🦁❤️🥋
