When you start to train Do Not question yourself. Everything will be new and a bit scary but that’s OK learn to listen to your body it will direct you. If it feels good than you are on the right track, if you feeling a bit weak after a few sets and reps your eating is off so ask yourself Why. At that point make a decision to carry on or not. If carry on adjust the weight, set’s and reps feeling good about it and say to yourself good job I listened and learned.
It’s really that simple Never walk away from training in a negative state. We learn something more about ourselves every time so be Proud.

Just thinking about my life though I would repost this one
In the early morning hours sitting by your fireplace with a coffee ☕️ in hand have you ever thought about your life. As the years go by in your mind you ask yourself am l still me?
Remembering your dreams with all the excitement that came from those thoughts. The juices would flow like the rapid waters you sat beside while discovering the wonderment of Nature. Then saying there is nothing l can’t do. These are the thoughts we should never lose.
But I am afraid the reality of life comes and hits us in our face. The thoughts of others start to wear away at our dreams by the comments as we unveil our dreams. You than start to question yourself and dreams. It’s really to bad that people can’t encourage you more at those times.
These are the times when we need that the most because it’s really important for us to keep those thoughts alive.
Yes we make some changes so we can live and fit into life. But by keeping those dreams in our thoughts and reaching for the stars we keep them alive. Doing this keeps us who we really are and believing that anything is possible.
We are Who we are never let life take that away from you. Oh The fire needs more wood and besides my ☕️ needs refilling so keep strong and Dream Big.

Just a quick little blurb on getting back on track.
It’s easy to drift at any season for whatever reason.
For some, when this happens they think, “what is the use?"
It's a hopeless feeling. Feeling of overwhelm.
So, they snub the gym and any other healthy things for their mind and body. Then this is when the getting-back-to-the-gym is a challenge and often feel like a fatty failure.
The best thing you can do if you are in this rut is get back to the gym.
You just do it, regardless where you are or how far gone you have gotten because - it happens.
Forget about knowing your eating isn’t up to par.
Yes, you will probably not have the greatest workouts at the start.
What this will do however is get you back into the groove of things and you will find your eating will improve simply from working out again.
You will start to feel better and in turn will, most likely, make better food choices.
So give yourself some slack Jack (or Jan).
To help on the eating side of things, ask yourself these 3 questions before you eat something.
1. Is this going to get me the results I want?
2. How will I feel after I eat this?
3. Am I really that hungry or am I just bored?
By being more mindful with what we ingest will also help keep us on track

We often receive emails from people wondering how much equipment is needed for a good weight training program from home.
More times than not, they are unequipped and unsure of what they need to have enough variety for continued progress.
Here is a little list of what we recommend to have for a full at home functioning gym.
*Power stand with a lat and pulley attachment
*Flat to incline bench
*Variety of bars (25,35 and a 45lb bar)
*Variety of plates
*Variety of dumbbells
**optional** Higher quality leg extension attachment (cheap ones will not stand the test of time)
It definitely is an investment and depends on the space you have, but will pay off in the long run.

Listen to your body.
If you are tired, rest and check out your food intake. You may be lacking something. Your body will tell you what you need if you listen to it. Never go against it or it will go against you!
Increase volume/weight at a slow controlled rate
If you can bench 205lbs, don’t try to add another 50lbs on. This is where injuries and imbalances start to happen.
Always workout for balance
It’s easy to and many people do this...They stick to something usually very basic and only work the same muscle groups. This also creates imbalances.
Stick to a routine that focuses again on the overall body to create and maintain balance throughout.
And there you have it folks...
The old way. Pretty simple and truly does work if you work at it.

If you lack the motivation to train try and find the why’s.
This will take stepping back and taking a look at yourself. Get some paper and pen and start writing put down everything that comes to your mind.
Don’t worry about you write, only you will see what is written let your mind go free.
Write as long as you want.
You might even put it away and come back to it.
All this is OK. You are doing nothing wrong just putting down thoughts to find out the WHY’S.
You may even find yourself getting very mad 😡 just let it out.
Once you have written down everything you can think of start to go over it and start crossing out what you now find not as critical.
Again you may have to put it away and come back again. But take your time this very important.
Keep narrowing it down to find the main reason why.
You know you just may surprise yourself with what you find out.
From there sit back and be PROUD.
Give yourself a high five.
You have found your MOTIVATION now DARE TO DREAM.
It’s all in your hands and by the way, yes it is SCARY, so just take one small step at a time.
Stand tall, be the person you know you can be.
