Real motivation for learning... or a well disguised business?

The belt should represent discipline, time and process. However, in many places today it has become a fast, attainable and accelerated goal where elevation matters more than learning. Degrees every few months, guaranteed exams and mandatory payments have made the belt value diluted.

The problem is not the system, but the use of it. When the belt rules more than technique and character, something is going wrong. Because in martial arts, respect, consistency and real level are not certified with a receipt.

In the end, the belt just holds the dobok...
the true level is shown by training. 🥋🔥
